Soraya Shaw – Founder & Director
Soraya founded Springboard Coaching in 2003 and over this period has focused on working with people to acknowledge and play to their strengths, Soraya has worked with a broad range of business professionals from middle mangers to board executives, supporting them to excel within their roles.
Passionate about business and developing the performance of others, Soraya’s expertise lies in the belief that the more we understand ourselves and others, we can develop better skills to lead and manage more successfully, learn more innovative ways to approach situations, hold more influence and develop stronger more, productive relationships.
A founding member of the Association for Coaching and an accredited Coach, Soraya holds a CIPD post graduate Licentiate in Leadership and Management, is qualified across various psychometrics tools and until recently sat on the boards of the Brighton Fringe and Brighton & Hove Business in the Community. As well as being a mother, Soraya is also one of the Executive coaches nurturing future leaders on the exclusive Marketing Hall of Legends Leadership programme.
Soraya’s previous career was as a Business Director in global advertising at agencies including Ogilvy and Lowes, directing Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, Kimberly Clark and Glaxo Smith Kline business. This experience gave Soraya wide experience in business and commercial acumen, strategic development, leading & managing teams, and communicating across diverse groups.
Patrick Hayward – Management Coach & Trainer
Patrick’s background is in Leadership, Management & Team Development training and Coaching. A certified coach since 2002 has a breadth of experience in coaching both managers and directors Additionally Patrick specialises in leadership development training and uses high profile sports management, teamwork and coaching models for his team and leadership development.
Having studied and analysed what makes a great director, Patrick focus with his clients is to give managers the theory and skills to be effective business directors, working with drive and determination, understanding and using staff’s skills appropriately, and having the right approach to get the best from their teams.
Patrick understands what motivates and makes people tick, having coached teams in the UK, managed teams in Africa, and completed the Marathon des Sables in the Sahara Desert, and can share and use this experience to create powerful and tangible results in his management training.
